After earning his Doctor of Medicine from the New York University School of Medicine, Dr. Alter went through extensive dermatology training. He completed an internship at New York City’s St. Luke’s—Roosevelt Hospital Center (now Mount Sinai St. Luke’s), followed by a comprehensive dermatology residency at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia.
To ensure he’s always in-the-know with the latest advancements in dermatological medicine, Dr. Alter maintains his board certifications through the American Board of Dermatology. As an expert in both medical and surgical dermatology, Dr. Alter serves as the primary clinician at Integrated Dermatology of Waterbury.
