Noel Turner, MD, MHS, is a caring dermatologist serving both adult and pediatric patients in Clinton, Connecticut and the surrounding area. Dr. Turner and the team at Integrated Dermatology of Clinton are experts in complete dermatologic care, including medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.

Dr. Turner earned his bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, graduating summa cum laude with both neuroscience departmental and university honors. He then moved to New Haven, Connecticut where he earned his medical doctorate and master of health science degrees from Yale University School of Medicine. His medical school research in Marcus Bosenberg’s lab laid the groundwork for a mouse model of the anti-melanoma immune response still in use today, and his thesis, entitled “Evaluation of the Mechanisms of Anti-Cancer Immune Responses,” was awarded the top thesis prize in 2019. 

Following medical school, Dr. Turner completed his internal medicine internship and dermatology residency at Yale New Haven Hospital, serving as Chief Resident during his final year. During this time, he began to develop an expertise in the diagnosis and management of common skin conditions including skin cancer, acne/rosacea, psoriasis, dermatitis, and disordered pigmentation as well as a high level of comfort with complex dermatologic conditions including cutaneous lymphoma, hair loss, autoimmune blistering diseases, and the skin manifestations of connective tissues diseases such as lupus, scleroderma, and dermatomyositis. He additionally developed a special interest in dermatopathology and plans to pursue a fellowship in the field. 

In his free time, Dr. Turner enjoys traveling, kayaking, hiking, and trying new restaurants with his wife, a dermatology resident, and his 16-year-old Pomeranian. He also volunteers with the Yale dermatology residents at the West Haven Veteran’s Hospital Dermatology Clinic.
